- I foster cats and kittens for our local shelter. And our Resident Ragdoll Frosty helps play cat ambassador to calm the nervous or feral ones.
- I have zero alcohol tolerance. I can get drunk on kombucha.
- I wrote what might have been the world’s first digital dichotomous key for lilacs on my Atari 800 when I was a kid, and it won a city-wide award for the Rochester Lilac Festival. (I now know nothing about computers or plants, unfortunately. But I still love the smell of lilacs.)
- I love true crime documentaries. My husband calls them my “murder shows.”
